Yobe State Governor and Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, reportedly announced the Party zoning arrangement ahead of 2023 general elections.

Governor Buni was said to have made the pronouncement during the National Working Committee – NWC meeting. He presented the zoning formula as it concerns the zoning of 2023 Presidential ticket, the Leadership of the National Assembly and the Leadership of the Party as follows:
