*Topic : CALEB’S SPIRIT*

” _Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession for we are well able to overcome it” Numbers 13:30._

Yesterday we saw the names of those who went to spy the Land, they came back with their findings and strong evidence and proof that they really went and saw the promised Land. Among the men sent was Caleb, a young man of zeal, courage and faith.
The rest of the men sent to spy the Land could not believe in the proof and evidence they saw over their victory in possessing the land as promised to their forefather, Abraham through faith.
How ever Caleb amidst the low self esteem and disbelief of the men stood his ground of faith and hope in the promise of God to their grandparents Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He maintained a strong faith of Hope and Victory in God’s promise to His people and boldly addressed the people saying “Let us go up at once and take possession of it; for we will certainly conquer it”
We are called to day to be like Caleb, to speak up in faith and hope of God’s promises and blessings in the home, school, at play, at church and anywhere we find ourselves.
Yes, We should be like Caleb even when we are the only voice to be heard. We must speak in faith and hope, in total trust that our God will surely bring it to pass that which He has promised.

*THOUGHT REFLECTION*
How many times have you partnered with the spirit of faithlessness by not speaking faith and hope in your current situation?
Can you be like Caleb and speak up in faith and hope of God’s divine intervention in your home, school, at play, and any where you find yourself? Or even in your current circumstances?

*Song*
Encamped along the hills of light
Ye Christian soldiers, rise,
And press the battle ere the night
Shall veil the glowing skies.
Against the foe in vales below
Let all our strength be hurled;
Faith is the Victory, we know,
That overcomes the World.
*Refrain*
Faith is the Victory!
Faith is the Victory!
O, glorious victory
That overcomes the World.

*PRAYER*
Dear God in heaven, help me to be like Caleb in speaking with hope and faith all your promises in my life. May I always be the faithful voice of truth and hope at play, school, home and church, so Help me God. Amen.
