Owerri based businessman and socialite, Comrade Chukwuemeka Soronnadi recently sealed his marriage with the love of his life, Lady Chinonso Gift Anyanwu, Mass Communication graduate in a Traditional Marriage.

The event, which took place at Ofeama Ife, Chikoneze in Ezinihitte-Mbaise local government area of Imo State, witnessed family members, friends, associates and well-wishers.

For Soronnadi, a graduate of Marketing from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, it was all joy and a day he had prayed for. “I had prayed fervently for my own wife and God in His mercies granted me my heart desire.

“I have come with my family to do the traditional rites and to cement our marriage and unify of our families because in Igbo culture once marriage is involved, the two families become one.

“My woman Gift is the love of my life, a gift indeed and I thank God for bringing us together.

“For the new wife, she said; ” I have waited for this day; the day me and my darling consummate our love in marriage. Today we have become one as the Bible says. We have taken the step and we bless God and pray to Him to grant us our heart desires; for His abiding grace with peace that passes human understanding.”

The parents of the bride, Chief & Mrs Anyanwu called on God and blessed his lovely daughter and her husband. He prayed that; it shall be well with them”.

The couple expressed their happiness in their dance steps though it was as though they had been doing it together as they danced to tunes and thrilled their guests.

It’s a day that will remain green in the hearts of the love birds.
