TOPIC: NEVER FEAR THE FUTURE

The Lord is a man of war. The Lord is His name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his hosts has He cast into the red sea… Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power; Thy right hand has dashed in pieces the enemy” (Ex 15:3,4,6).

Moses and the children of Israel sang songs of praises and thanksgiving unto God after He had delivered them from their Egyptian enemies who pursued to overtake them. Pharaoh’s chariots and his host were drowned in the red sea, after the people of God has crossed the red sea on a dry land.
But it was not long afterwards as they lacked water for three days that they murmured against Moses. That is to say, against God, for making them to thirst for water. The waters in the wilderness were bitter and was called Marah and so they could not drink of the waters of Marah. Moses cried unto the Lord and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when the leaves were cast into the waters, the waters became sweet for drinking.
Most times, people grudge and complain over their immediate challenges. Though those challenges may seem impossible to go through or overcome, yet, we should always remember that God is still in control of this world. God’s children should always remember how the Lord has led them in the past and always sing praises unto Him. And by trusting Him, He will also help us to overcome our present and future challenges.

SONG
All the way my Savior leads me
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercies
Who through life has been my guide?
Heavenly peace divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell
For I know whate’er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well
For I know whate’er befall me, Jesus doeth all things well

PRAYER
Dear Lord, help me to always remember how you have led me in the past, and teach me to ever trust and depend on you for the future. Please, Lord, forgive my fears and doubts over your powers to take care of my present challenges and cause that I will glorify your name at the end, I pray with thanks in Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
