” _And the Lord said unto Moses, take thee Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the spirit and lay thine hand upon him”. Numbers 27:18_

After God had told Moses that he was going to die and would not enter into the promised land, Moses requested to set another leader before the çhildren of Israel, to go before them that the people of Israel be not as sheep without a shepherd.
Then, God told Moses that Joshua the son of Nun, should be set as a leader after him before the Israelites. God also instructed that Eleazar, the high priest should give Joshua charge before the congregation and Moses to give him some of His honour so that the children of Israel may be obedient to him.
The question today is this; can God choose you whenever He is in need of somebody to do something for Him? Joshua was full of courage. It was him and Caleb that gave positive reports about the land of Canaan. His lifestyle was so pleasing to the Lord that when the time came for good, to choose someone who would take the place of Moses, God remembered Him and chose him.

*Prayer* : Thank you Father, for choosing me as a heir of your kingdom. Thank you for your unconditional love toward me. Dear Lord, please I plead for forgiveness over all my wrong doings and careless lifestyle. Thank you Lord for hearing and for answered prayers, in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
