Police Releases Ecobank Invader In Imo, Certifies His Condition

The Police in Imo Has released the man who invaded Ecobank and snatched customers N300, 000 after investigation certifying him as truly mad.

Newstrack Nigeria (newstrack.com.ng) had reported how a man man invaded Ecobank branch in Imo requesting to be paid N1.2 million from his imaginary account.

He had identified himself as Chukwu Okwesilieze, which he scribbled on a sheet of paper. He also wrote the sum of N2.5 million with a signature.

When NewsTrack Nigeria went back to enquire, one of the Staff who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity said; “The man has been released from the police custody.

There was an insinuation that the invader may have feigned madness to deceive unsuspecting customers.
