Adolph aka ‘Abamaragu’ Salutes Governor Uzodimma Over Ngor-Okpala Bye-Election Victory


Business mogul and Orlu born political leader, Chief Adolph Anokwute popularly known as ‘Abamaragu’ has extended his goodwill to the leader of All Progressives Congress, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma on the resounding victory of Blyden Amajirionwu at the just concluded House of Assembly Bye-Election.

Another sent his goodwill message while interacting with newsmen shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Amajirionwu of APC the winner of the election.

Chief Anokwute attributed the victory to the appreciation of Owerri zone people to the solid and quality infrastructural developments going on in the zone.

He further described the people of Ngor-Okpala as a people of wisdom who have taken their destiny into their hands by freeing themselves from bondage of imposition and sentiments.

He hailed the party leadership led by Dr. Macdonald Ebere whose youthfulness and energy in house to house campaign paid off.

His words: “Ngor-Okpala was a positive signal. The victory is attributable to the changing of the narrative by our Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. That resounding victory is not unconnected with the quality he has brought to bear in infrastructural development. Owerri zone and Ngor-Okpala in particular appreciate.

“I am also aware that the people chose, this time, to exorcise themselves of sentiments and tradition of imposition. This time, they can stand up and hold their representative responsible and give them charge.

“I know that our Governor will never take the people of Ngor-Okpala for granted, including their representative at the Imo House of Assembly.

“I wish to also charge my brother Blyden Amajirionwu to rise to the occasion and be a good Ambassador of the APC. He must show capacity and show care and love for his people.”
