Herdsmen Kill Four In Benue Community
Four persons were yesterday killed and many others injured in Ahentse community, Ndzorov, Guma local government area of Benue State.
Ndzorov is the ancestral home of Governor Samuel Ortom.
The invaders were said to have entered the community through Damkor village and opened fire.
A member of the community, who survived the attack, Daniel Gwa, told The Nation that the attack happened with an army unit stationed less than 5km from the scene, yet there was no security response.
Police spokesperson Kate Anene cnfirmed the attack.
