Petrol Station, Building Razed In Lagos Tanker Fire

A petrol station and a three-storey building were yesterday razed when a tanker discharging petrol exploded at the petrol station.

The incident occurred in Alakara area of Mushin in Lagos around 1pm.

He accused the filling of negligence, saying,”They don’t have a fire extinguisher,  no preventive measures. Also, they keep tankers that are loaded with fuel for about two days before discharging,” he said.

Acting Zonal Coordinator of  Southwest Zonal Office of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, said, “No life was lost and no one was injured. Containment of the fire has been very successful.”
