Senator Adamu Emerges APC National Chairman

As already predicted, a former Governor of Nassarwa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has formally emerged the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

His emergence at the ongoing National Convention of the party in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, was formalized after other aspirants in the race for the position officially stepped down for him.

A former Senator and a former member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Abdullahi Adamu is today, the National Chairman of the APC.

Meanwhile, Adamu emerged consensus candidate for the position after President Muhammadu Buhari endorsed him so and beckoned on others to step down for him.

Though this did not go down well with others but they felt it was only expected they give President Buhari some respects as the leader of the party.

The former Governor of Nasarawa State, Tank Al Makura who gave Adamu a good run for the position also stepped aside after a tortous campaign as he was visibly serious for the position.

With the development, the reign of Governor Mai Mala Buni has come to the end as he would be expected to now concentrate on his primary duties to the people of Yobe State.

While those who totally lost may stay back to lick their wounds, hoping for an opening to heal while others might take a last minute exit in pursuit of their political ambition.
