Ex – Imo Deputy Gov. Madumere Salutes Buhari, Party Leaders Over Successful APC Convention

Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has described the just concluded the ruling All Progressives Congress National Convention as “a big success”.

Prince Madumere made the statement while responding to the newsmen on his view over the outcome of the convention.

He said: Our party’s just concluded National Convention was a big success.

“This feat was achieved as a result of the resolve of the party leadership to remain focused, being aware of the wishes of the opposition to see the party disintegrate.

“I must particularly commend President Muhammadu Buhari for his leadership and wise counsel. Even when the party was at the verge of irretrievable crisis, he chose a calmer option to ensure that peace prevailed. It was a win-win for the party

“I congratulate the new National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu. I must also extol the temperament of other aspirants who sacrificed ambition for the general interest of the party and the country at large and for lending their support at the end”.

He however poured encomium on other APC Governors for their differing roles including the critical stakeholders for looking at the big picture to salvage the party.

In conclusion he said: “Our great party’s success story in the just concluded National Convention is a function of good leadership, selflessness and It is victory for democracy”.
