Tinubu Cancels Colloquium in honour of Kaduna train attack victims

Bola Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, has cancelled the 13th edition of his annual colloquium in honour of those that died in an attack on a Kaduna-bound train on Monday night.

It is unclear whether the former governor, who has since declared his intention to run for president in 2023, plans to hold the colloquium meant to mark his 70th birthday on another date.

This is even as a number of people are missing, apparently kidnapped by the terrorists while were said to have targeted first class coaches and kidnapped several passengers in an operation that lasted more than an hour.

Meanwhile, Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central senator, has said a civil servant who survived the attack informed him that the terrorists shot those who resisted arrest.

“I just spoke with a survivor who is a civil servant working with a public Library, She narrated that the terrorists specifically targeted the Business Class coach. They kidnapped some persons including a “white man” & killed those who resisted while she pretended to be dead,” Sani said via his twitter handle, @ShehuSani.
