*Topic: In their Own Eyes:*

“ _In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.”.. Judges 17: 6_

We live in a society where people are committed to doing what they themselves believe is right. We hear: “Do whatever makes you happy” or “You don’t need someone else’s permission to do what you feel is right.” Maybe you yourself at one time believed you could do what you believed was right. Part of our struggle with sin is wanting to do what we ourselves believe is right versus what God says is right.
Micah had a shrine, made an ephod and teraphim, and installed one of his sons, who became his priest. The shrine would probably include some sort of altar where Micah could pray and offer sacrifices.
We must submit to God Almighty as king of our lives always. “Do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God” (Rom 6:13). “Submit to God” (Js 4:7).
As Christians, our hearts must be fully submitted to the will of God. Let’s commit to doing everything in our power to submit to the mighty hand of God.

*Song*
All to Jesus, I surrender
All to Thee I freely give
I will ever love and trust You
In Your presence daily live
*Refrain*
I surrender all, I surrender all
All to Thee, my blessed Savior
I surrender all

*Prayer*
Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, I commit all my ways to you. I entrust my soul into your hands. I pledge my life to your service. May this day be for me a day of obedience and love, a day of happiness and peace. Amen
