2023: Ezenwa Declares Intention To Represent Ahiazu State Constituency In Imo Assembly

– Pulls Overwhelming Crowd of Supporters

While the political atmosphere in Imo State is charged with politicians jostling to outdo one another, Ahiazu Mbaise local government area of the state has even thrown up greater challenge to the polity.

In search of servant leaders who have the the requisite credentials to give the local government an effective representation, Dr. Jahn Ezenwa was one of those approached to join the race.

This could explain the pomp and pageantry witnesses during the declaration ceremony of Jahn Ezenwa to contest Imo State House of Assembly to represent Ahiazu State Constituency.

Addressing the mammoth crowd consisted of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, stakeholders and faithful with teeming supporters, Ezenwa said he was in the race to give his people an effective representation.

“I am in the race to give my people effective representation. It takes an experienced person who understands legislative craft, lobbying and negotiating prowess to the best representation.

“I will run all inclusive representation, where our leaders, stakeholders and our people must be carried along by conferring with them in every issues on intense discourse that requires legislative backing.

“Coming to the critical area of appropriation, I shall work cordially with colleagues and the executive arm of the government to push through the needed projects and programmes in the local government to better the lost of our people”.

After addressing the people on how he would work with the leadership of the party to ensure Ahiazu gets its fair share of the commonwealth of the state, he appealed to the party to consider him based on his experience, contacts and his loyalty to the people.

The high point of the ceremony was the thunderous songs of endorsements from the youths and women groups.
