Madumere Hails Imo Workers On May-Day, Urges For Improved Welfare
Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere congratulates Imo workers and their counterparts other Nigerian workers on May Day celebration.
Prince Madumere whose antecedent of care and cordiality with Imo workers when in office remains green, said that Nigeria’s work force remains it’s greatest asset in the development of the country.
The former Deputy Governor’s statement was expressed in a statement signed by his Adviser Media & Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.
He said that he understands the critical phase of Nigeria’s economy, especially with loss of value thereby putting families into confusion as it becomes even more difficult to cater for families.
He admonished them to have patience, saying that Nigeria will get better.
His call: ” I appeal to government’s at levels to look at the economic realities in the country and improve on the welfare of workers.
“He also called for their consideration for some education grants to help their children through school.
“He also advocated for some business loans for those who have other skills that could help them earn extra incomes.
“Only decent remuneration can motivate workers for increases productivity”.
