Madumere Visits Anyanwu, Condoles Him Over Mother’s Passing At 102

Imo former Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, Sunday, paid a condolence visit to Chief C.Y Anyanwu over mother’s passing to glory at his county home in Amaorji Amawo, Mbutu in Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State.

Prince Madumere said Anyanwu remains an associate whose character he extolled, especially for his frankness.

Commiserating with the family, Prince Madumere said; “My brother, I have come to share in the pain of losing a lovely mother. I am also here to share the same kind fate, which saw Mama live a century and two years on earth. That aspect is better described as celebration of life.

“Anyanwu, your late Mother left a gift of good nature in you and I know that you will keep up with that.

“It is my prayer that she finds eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord”.

Thanking the former Deputy Governor who he described as his boss, friend and a role model, he expressed gratitude for identifying with him at a time mourning.

“You have lightened my day. Your lifestyle is such that is encouraging to me. I am happy for the honour. I shall never forget”, he said.

He prayed God to grant Prince Madumere long life which runs in their family, which he took time to lead Madumere and his entourage on memory lane of elongated life span in his lineage.
