Group Endorses Nwaopara To Represent Mbaitoli State Constituency In Imo Assembly
– As Aspirant Responds With Tears
A group under the aegis of Mbaitoli Solidarity Front in their bid to ensure that no mediocre represents Mbaitoli state Constituency in Imo State House Assembly, has endorsed one of the frontline aspirants, Barr. Ikechukwu Nwaopara for the office.
The group visited the aspirant at his country home in Ubakuru, Mbieri to pay him a solidarity visit.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Richard Durunna said the members of the group had come to him not because of money or to give them money.
His reason is that; “We have seen those jostling to represent Mbaitoli State Constituency. They are all qualified but lack the finesse and skill to stand in for a local government like Mbaitoli.
” We want our people to shun money politics and support a personality who can work for them.
“To keep the ball rolling for a great cause of liberating Mbaitoli from the jinx of misrepresentation at the legislative arm of government, we hereby endorse Barr. Ikechukwu Nwaopara as our candidate.
“We call on other Mbaitoli sons and daughters to key in for the onward movement to reposition our state constituency towards achieving its potentials”.
Barr Nwaopara who was all smiles sang a song of victory as tears flowed freely and unhindered.
He thundered, “I had looked forward this day when my people will take their destinies into their hands.
“Like I have always said; my other brothers in this race have all done well in their differing endeavours but the fact remains that I was trained to speak with logic, negotiate with vision and craft bills without missing the goal. Please I am in the race for the love I have for my people and Imo State in general.
“What you have done today will sustain me into other greater journeys. I am most grateful and this day shall never be a “Day of Infamy”. God in Heaven please hear me and strengthen me; add to the courage you already blessed me with and may I not just justify the expected mandate of my people but may my deeds bring glory to your name”
