2023: Jonathan Joins Presidential Race As Groups Purchase APC Expression Of Interest, Nomination Forms For Him

Group under the aegis of coalition of Northern Groups have purchased All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential expression of interest and nomination forms for the former President, Goodluck Jonathan to contest 2023 presidential election.

This move has ended months of speculation over Jonathan’s move to cross carpet to the ruling All Progressives Congress and his resolve to contest presidential election to return to Aso Rock.

Recall that the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari had wrestled power from Jonathan in 2015.

Though his eligibility is still shrouded in controversy over the constitutional amendment regarding his position having served out the tenure of his late Boss, Umaru Yar’adua, it is left to be seen what events unfold.
