Barr. Nwaopara Salutes Gov. Uzodimma On Sun Governor Of The Year Award

Ikechukwu Nwaopara, Imo State based lawyer and frontline aspirant to represent Mbaitoli State Constituency at House of Assembly has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his recent honour, as the Sun Governor Of Year.

Nwaopara made the congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed, describing the highly revered Award as well deserving.

He said that Uzodimma despite the lacklustre that trails the economic state of Imo he inherited, he has made a Giant strides in differing sectors of the polity.

“Surely, the Award is not unconnected with Distinguished Senator Uzodimma’s trajectory in public service both in the Senate and as the Governor of the state.

“We can all testify to his magical transformation of the city State of Imo. While the state had been incumbered by vagaries of impassable roads, erosion and dilapidated facilities, including health centres, despite security challenges, he has been able to provide not just infrastructures but quality and sustainable ones.

“Methinks that his exploits in the public service – National Assembly and at present the Governor of Imo State has undoubtedly shown his consistency in service.

“Imo State was virtually in collapsed state as every single road had failed with its concomitant consequences of causing untold hardship to the people.

“Despite the spate of insecurity, he has been able to give Imo people sustainable roads, fixed health facilities at the grassroots and extended some appreciable resources to human capital development in collaboration with some federal government agencies.

“The Sun Award is well deserving, applauding the esteemed Media Organization and for a job well done”, the statement reads.
