UZODIMMA AGAIN! Crisis, Threats To Gag APC As Governor Uzodimma Is Accused Of Preventing Conduct of Senatorial Primary Election

There appears to be a tensed atmosphere, chaos in Imo State as Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State , has allegedly prevented the conduct of the primary election for senatorial aspirants on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State.

The primary election which the party had slated to hold today is yet to commence at Heroes Square, the original venue of the senatorial primary election for the state.

As at the time of filing this report, the supposed venue is deserted and aspirants were seen complaining at the vacant and alleging that governor Uzodimma has directed that the primary election be taken to an undisclosed location.

Meanwhile, there is a widespread report of alleged irregularities that dotted the process of primary election for the House of Representatives in the state.

There is also trail of daylight robbery of people’s mandate during Primary elections for House of Assembly.

Supporters of some candidates have threaten to shut down All Progressives Congress in every ward, local government should Uzodimma fail to do the right thing by allowing delegates vote their choice candidates.
