Aisha Yesufu Asks Peter Obi To Deputise Her, Insists It Won’t Work

Human Rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has finally broken silence following several calls on Twitter that the presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi deputise her because of her bravery and readiness to see that the oppressed get justice.

However, Aisha Yesufu doesn’t see it happening and she listed ten reasons why it can’t work. According to her, she is from the South-South and Peter Obi is from the South East, so it’s insensitive to have an all-Southern ticket.

She made it clear that she can easily market a candidate to the public but finds it difficult to sell herself. According to her, she isn’t the type of person that plays partisan politics and that may affect her if she chooses to join a political party because she won’t be able to keep quiet when a member of her party is getting it wrong. She went on to say that her support would do more good than harm if she supports Peter Obi’s political ambition rather than becoming his deputy.
