ABIA: Labour Party’s Obi Aguochi Leading T.A Orji’s Son With 5000 Votes (RESULTS)

As Labour Party continues to put up a good showing in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Election, in Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, Obi Aguocha is in the lead over his closest rival, the former Abia State’s Governor’s son, Chinedum Orji.

By the result obtained by NewsTrack Nigeria (newstrack.com.ng), Chief Aguocha is in the lead with over five thousand votes in 2 LGAs, expected to be over fifteen thousand win margin in favour of Aguocha when Umuahia North is released.

As the result of the two LGAs of Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency released thus far, Chief Obi Aguocha has had a wide win margin of over five thousand 5000 votes over his closest rival Rt Hon. Chinedum Orji, the present speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly. 

In an election that witnessed high voter turnout, the voters in Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency voted for their preferred candidate who will represent them at the green chambers. 

With the results of various polling units of Umuahia North LGA seen this far, it is expected that when the final result is released, Chief Aguocha will win Chinedum Orji with over fifteen thousand votes.

By this development, the people of Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency seem to have spoken loud and clear through the ballot, that they want a change from the present status quo.
