 *Topic: JESUS PROVIDES FOR OUR NEEDS* 

“ _And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him; they have no wine” John 2:3_ 

The miracle of turning water into wine was the first miracle of Jesus. He performed this miracle to teach men that with total trust in Him, there can be no failure in the supply of our resources. The filling of the six water pots of stone with water by the servants and drawing out from there to serve the governor of the feast and others as well is a wonderful illustration of total trust and obedience to the Master, Jesus Christ.

The testimonies of the people at the wedding feast in Cana of Galilee as they drank the new wine were quite overwhelming. They said to the bride groom, ”every man at the beginning of a feast serves the good wine, then that which is worse. But thou have kept the good wine until now”.

The lesson here for us is that the providence of Jesus for our souls never fails to give satisfaction and joy. Jesus provides us with the best gifts whenever we tell Him what we need. He does not neglect any of our requests no matter how big or little it may seem. He counsels us as His children that the rich gifts we receive from Him today assures us that He will bless us with richer gifts tomorrow if we keep trusting and obeying Him.

Do you tell Jesus your needs- family needs, school needs and other personal needs, moreso, the needs of your friends and relations?

Do you really trust that He will always provide for all your needs?

Dear Lord, thank you for you are the great provider. Thank you for always supplying my food and all other things that I need. Please, forgive me for doubting Your power to supply my needs sometimes especially when things become so hard. Increase my trust in You and help me always to understand that You will fulfill Your promise to always provide for and supply your rich gifts for my needs according to your riches in glory, I pray with thanks in Jesus Christ name. Amen
