Arrest MC Oluomo Before Calling For Reconciliation – Atiku Tackles Tinubu

The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has rubbished the reconciliation call by the President-Elect, Bola Tinubu.

Atiku said Tinubu should arrest and prosecute the former Lagos State National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, chairman Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, for threatening Igbos during the governorship election.

He said Tinubu’s call for reconciliation was laced with hypocrisy and lies.

Following the conduct of the 2023 general elections, Tinubu had urged the opposition to give room for healing.

Tinubu said those affected by the violence should set aside their differences for the sake of national interest and unity.

He spoke through his Media Aide, Phrank Shaibu.

He recalled how MC Oluomo and some Tinubu’s media aides made anti-Igbo rants during the just-concluded elections.

A statement by Shaibu reads partly: “Tinubu’s latest statement is laced with hypocrisy and lies. For a whole month, traditional leaders, transport hooligans and politicians in his camp threatened non-indigenes but Tinubu kept mute.

“His lackey, MC Oluomo, who is a member of his Presidential campaign council, was seen on video threatening Igbo people but Tinubu said nothing.

“There will be no reconciliation until MC Oluomo and all his minions who took part in issuing threats and brutalising people are diligently prosecuted.”
