Okoroafor Congratulates Abia Governor-Elect, Says “The People Have Spoken”

– Urges Him To Tackle Abia’s Development Deficit

The Abia born technocrat and business mogul, Mr Chike Okoroafor has joined other well meaning Nigerians to felicitate the Abia State Governor-Elect, Dr. Alex Otti.

Okoroafor extended his goodwill message shortly after Alex Otti was declared the winner of Abia gubernatorial election, describing it as a hard won victory for the people of Abia State.

He described the process that threw up Otti as a revolution that is spreading across Nigeria, where citizens are now more interested in those who have a trajectory of excellence with patriotic zeal to bring about Development and improve people’s well being.

He described Otti as a compassionate leader who has antecedents of excellence, patriotism with problem solving orientation.

“Abia people are known for their resilience, industry and innovation. We have had the dearth of this spirit because of infrastructural deficits and lack of physical and non-physical incentives. “The people now rue with no hope at all.”

Speaking further he said, “Otti’s social mobility is well known.  His academic and financial exploits are accountable; his Midas touch can also be felt from his legacies in institutions he had worked with overtime.

“My advice is that he should be focused and ensure that he attends to the heart of the problem militating against growth and development of the state. Politics is the only altruistic vocation where you must not think about yourself but the people. I believe that with prayers, people’s support, he has all it takes to uplift the state”, he concluded.
