Madumere Felicitates Nigerians on Easter, Urges Leaders To Learn Christ’s Sacrifice, Selflessness.

The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has extended his Goodwill message to the people of his home state, Imo and Nigerians on the auspicious occasion of Easter.

Prince Madumere expressed his Goodwill message in a statement issued by his Adviser on Media and Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.According to the statement: ” He called on Nigerians to rise above their challenges as Jesus Christ of Nazareth worked, sacrificed his life and rose from the death for us all whom he called his friends.

“All over the world, we commemorate his death because of its significance, which borders on selflessness, sacrifice and risen above the burden that once tormented us and kept us all in fear of eternal condemnation.

“Today, Nigeria is more divested than ever. The remembrance of Jesus Christ and his leadership proves to us that we can always make amends, accept our follies, hate, divisive and Crooked lifestyle and turn a new leaf.

“Jesus led an exemplary life worthy of emulation. He never discriminated neither did he save only his brothers and race but all that would stretch out their hands to be saved.

“If only we can hearken unto his call and embrace one another as the same.peoplw from the God Almighty, God will heal our land.

“Our politicians must use the period for sober reflection and know that killing to get power does not take us anywhere. Eternal death awaits those who use the name of God in vain and still go ahead to suppress and oppress the armless, the hopeless and and the weary.

“The Bible says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

“Recall that on a Good Friday had also called on Nigerian leaders to learn from the sacrifices of the Lord Jesus Christ who died to save man from eternal destruction unsolicited.
