He also called for the strengthening of the unity and love in the country, warning politicians who create the imaginary divides for power to turn a new leaf. His statement:
“I want use this platform to felicitate our Muslim brothers and Sisters as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, marking the end Ramadan season.
“There is no doubt that we are all preaching the same message of love and unity.
“Going through fasting for one full month in remembrance of the poor and less privileged. It is also a way of wearing their shoes and understanding better they pinch.
“I therefore call on the faithful across Nigeria to extend this love to all and sundry. We must learn to love one another. The unity of this country must not be toiled with.
“Our politicians must stop sowing the seeds of discord and hate. We must all join hands to say no to such preachments.
“As we celebrate our Muslim brothers, we pray for a greater nation where peace, unity, love and progress shall reign.”
