- Inter Milan beat city rivals AC Milan 1-0 (3-0 on aggregate) to book a place in the Champions League final for the first time since 2010.
- Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez combined with Romelu Lukaku to score the winning goal in the 74th minute.
- Inter will face either Manchester City or Real Madrid in the final in Istanbul on June 10.

- Crucial to Inter’s advance through the competition this year has been rock-solid defences at the back. Onana has kept a miraculous eight clean sheets during the Nerazzurri’s campaign – the record, most reached by Edouard Mendy for Chelsea, is nine.
