BREAKING: NCC Approves Unified USSD Codes For Data, Airtime Balance Checks

The recent complaints over the difficulty in checking data, airtime and other services on the mobile phone is not unconnected with the change in codes by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

NCC has approved unified USSD codes for all mobile networks operating in Nigeria. The harmonised shortcodes (HSC) will work across all mobile networks in the country.

The following are the new Unified USSD codes for all mobile networks in Nigeria:

Call Centre: 300
Borrow Services: *303#
Stop Service: *305#
Check Balance: *310#
Credit Recharge: *311#
Data Plan: *312#
Data plan balance: *323#
Share Services: *321#
DND: 2442
Porting services: 3232
NIN Verification and NIN-SIM Linkage: *996#

THESE CODES WORK FOR ALL NIGERIA NETWORK

Meanwhu, all former customised codes for different mobile networks have been rendered useless.
