Imo: Gov Uzodimma Redeploys OCDA GM To Sister Agency, ENTRACO
The General Manager of Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA), Francis Chukwu, has been reportedly redeployed to a sister establishment, Environmental Transformation Commission (ENTRACO).
Chukwu’s move may be an administrative measure to resolve disquiet in the OCDA over alleged rancour among the workers and contractors.
As he heads to the Environmental Transformation Commission, ENTRACO, while the immediate past General Manager of the ENTRACO, Frank Nkem, heads OCDA as the General
NewsTrack Nigeria (newstrack.com.ng) garnered that the removal of the immediate past OCDA boss is not unconnected alleged high handedness on the staff, irreconcilable issues that border on unconfirmed financial misappropriation.
Frank Nkem of former ENTRACO according to reports, will officially assume duty on Wednesday as the new General Manager of OCDA, just as Francis Chukwu would do same in his new office.
Responding to the development, Eberechukwu Okechukwu, Media Aide to the former OCDA boss, said the news was not yet official because his principal was yet to hear from the Governor on the true position of his office.
He however admitted that since the news had started flying, it may not be anyway far from the truth but would promptly revert to us once it is made official.
Francis Chukwu may not be blamed intoto because he must have been walking on a thorny path following Governor’s directive on assumption of duty as OCDA boss
It must be said that Chukwu will be remembered by Landlords and Developers for his thorough disposition, crack down on touting and undue extortion of developers with the OCDA territory. He was diligent in his duty and verified all transactions to avoid excessive charges against developers.
