One Destiny Organisation Applauds Otti On Effective Appointments, Clean-Up Abia Flag-Off
The One Destiny Organisation, Abia State, has extended its commendation to Governor Alex Otti of Abia on the appointments he has made so far.
The organisation had extended its commendations through its National Coordinator, Designer Ohiri O. Leiws on Friday, June 2, 2023.
In a statement signed by Uche Onwuchekwa, the Media Consultant to the organisation, Ohiri said the organisation rising from its meeting unanimously voted to commend the Governor of Abia for taking the right step in the right direction.
Recall that the Advocacy group through its National Coordinator, Ohiri, had thrown its weight behind to Alex Otti of Labour party (LP) and also mobilised its members and stakeholders for Otti’s campaign and election.
According to Ohiri, “Governor Otti has begun on a very good footing. We have seen his appointments. He has shown his mettle as a technocrat who is result oriented.
“He understands what effective recruitment is Al about. The situation in Abia State abhors mediocrity. We have seen a man who has focus and is determined to succeed. And this begins with the assemblage of effective team.
“Each of the appointees has his track record in his area of specialty. That is the only way to succeed.
“While we commend the Governor, we call on those who were appointed to count it as a blessing because they are all going to play one role or the other in the course of rebuilding Abia.
“We warn, this is not the time for laissez-faire attitude. The shame we have all borne as citizens of Abia must be cleansed by the new government.
“We were all in this country when a certain Senator from Kogi State referred to a former Governor of Abia State as a “drunkard”. He pointed out that Abia State boats of brightest of personalities who are not only educated but have track records of excellence but was unfortunate to produce a alcoholic intoxicating leadership. That was the height of it all.
“God in his mercy has given us one man we can count on. Governor Otti must not lose focus as all eyes are on him. Abai people have spoken and they are watching.”
In addition, the Destiny Organisation also applauded the Governor for his Clean-Up Abia project. We are aware that he defiled an extreme weather of heavy down pour to personally give effect to that project.
