Anglican Diocese Of Ohaji/Egbema Holds  5th Synod In Imo

The Anglican Diocese of Ohaji/Egbema in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government of Imo State has concluded all preparations for her 1st Session of the 5th Synod.

In a statement issued Monday by the Bishop, The Rt. Revd Chidi Collins Oparaojiaku through the Synod planning committee Chairman Sir. Gideon Mefor and the Clerical Synod Secretary, Ven. Edwin Emedininwa, the event will hold between 29th June to 2nd July 2023 at St. Paul’s Church Mgbirich -Ohaji along Owerri/Port Harcourt road.

According to the Bishop, the synod which has as it theme “Following Jesus: The Essence of Discipline & Fruitfulness Mathew 4:19, will commence with a welcome service and courtesy visit

He said that the Synod plenary session/youth in synod will hold on the secondary Friday 30th June,2023 which would be followed by synod presidential/Bishop Address and Appreciation of the address on Saturday 1st July 2023.

The prelate said that the Synod Sunday Thanksgiving and launching of Evangelism Trust Fund (ETF) will hold on Sunday 2nd July, 2023 which will Mark the end off the synod.

The Bishop enjoins all clergy, the laity, friends and well wishers of the Diocese to avail themselves of the opportunity to come and be party the event.
