Topic: ALL HEIRS OF THE KINGDOM

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power. Ephesians 3:1-7

The church Is an entity that has no boundaries. Prior to the conversion of Paul, the Jews believed that they were the sole heirs to the promises of Christ. They saw themselves as the only children of the promise due to their direct ancestry claim to Abraham.

Paul on the other hand was appointed a minister to the gentiles, this means that God wants the Gospel to get to everybody, not just the Jews alone but the rest of humanity because all human beings were created by God, hence are all children of God. Paul began the work of reaching out to the gentiles and as a result of his work and the power of the holy Spirit which accompanied him, the good news of the kingdom has gone far beyond the boundaries of the Jewish nation into the far ends of the earth as well as to us today.

It is now a duty passed down to us, to share the good news to everyone around (Ephesians 3:1-7) so that we all can be made partakers of the kingdom promises.

Prayer
Dear Lord, I bless your name for who you are. Thank you for the miracle of sleeping all the night and waking up early this morning. Today, you have taught me that the kingdom promises are not for me alone, I pray that you enable me to always tell others about it just like Paul did. I pray in Jesus name. Amen
