Topic: God Is A Rewarder Of Faithfulness.

“ Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for ye serve the Lord Christ”. Col. 3:24

Let me start by asking what a reward is? A reward is a thing given in recognition of service, effort, or achievement.
According to this definition, it shows that in order for you to be rewarded, your work, effort must be recognized. Which means that as a child, no matter your age, you have to put in effort in the work of God, your time, energy, attendance and participation, all these are needed before you can be rewarded. It’s the same thing as parents sharing responsibilities to the children; excuses for not finishing your responsibility might be heard but you will not be patronized. Whoever finishes the responsibility given to him/her, is the one to be rewarded.
Because God is faithful and not partial, He gives reward to whom reward is due.
Now these are some of the rewards you will receive in your youthful age for responding positively to God’s work:
God will bless you with Wisdom;
God will bless you with long life and good health.
He will make you to be above your mates.
He will bless your parents for your sake and He will expand your intellectual capability.

Who wouldn’t want God to give him these blessings mentioned? I guess none! If you work for God faithfully, God will bless you with even more.
Now the most valuable is the one that we’ll receive at the coming of our Lord Jesus, the Crown of Life; the Incorruptible Crown; the Crown of Righteousness; the Crown of Glory; and the Crown of Exaltation. All these will only be for those who have worked for the Lord faithfully.

I urge you today that you work for the Lord in your little capacity, your little corner, you can make friends for Jesus, you can invite your friends to church and most especially your character can be as a revival to others. That’s why the bible says, let your light shine forth, that people may see and glorify your father who is in heaven.
Friends, there are numerous blessings for serving the Lord, be ready to walk with Him to work for Him and He will surely bless you.

Thoughts for reflection
He who faithfully serves the lord, will never go unblessed for God is a faithful rewarder. Meditate on this.

Work in the glowing sun;

When man’s work is done.

Prayer .
Heavenly Father, we have accepted to walk with you for strength and direction to work for you in our little capacities, we can’t do this on our own, give us the enablement to serve you, for we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
