Title: “Finding Our Purpose: Standing Strong with God”
For now we live, if we stand in the Lord’ – 1 Thessalonians 3:8
There’s a big difference between just existing and truly living. Existing means going through the motions without a real purpose or something to live for. But living is exciting because we have a special purpose and goals to accomplish. God created each one of us with unique gifts and talents and He wants to guide us through life’s challenges as we strive to fulfill our purposes.
To live with purpose, we need to stand strong with God. It’s not just about going to church or learning Bible verses, although those are important. Standing strong with God means studying and obeying His Word, and following His teachings. When we obey Him, we experience His blessings and His presence in our lives. For obedience brings the blessings near (Deuteronomy 28:2).
The devil will try to distract us and pull us away from God, but we don’t have to be afraid. God promises to protect us and deliver us from harm. We just need to stand in Him, with our hearts filled with hope and faith. He is always ready to forgive us and welcome us back into His arms, just like a loving father does with his long-lost child.
So, let’s pause and think about it. Have you ever felt like you lost your connection with God? Maybe you made some wrong choices or got distracted from what is truly important. The good news is that God is always ready to forgive and accept us back into His loving embrace. All we have to do is ask Him for forgiveness and recommit ourselves to following Him.
Remember, God has a special purpose for each of us, even as kids. When we stand strong with Him, we can discover that purpose and live with excitement and fulfillment. Let’s choose to find our purpose by standing strong with God every day.

Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Remember that God has uniquely created you with special gifts and talents. As you stand strong in Him and seek His guidance, He will reveal your purpose and lead you on a fulfilling journey.

Prayer
Dear God, thank you for giving us a purpose and for always being ready to welcome us back into your love. Help us to stand strong with you, to obey your Word, and to follow your teachings just so we will be able to live a purposeful life. No matter how hard the devil may try to pull me away from you Lord, keep us looking up to you. Guide us as we discover and live out our purposes in life. In Jesus’ name, amen
