But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children 1 Thessalonians 2:7
There is more to parenting, than just to bring children to this world. We are living in a time when the word of God’s promise is being fulfilling on a daily base. The bible said that in the end time knowledge shall increase(Dan 12:4) and indeed knowledge has actually increased. The knowledge today is seen in the life of the children that we beget. How close is your relationship with the wonderful children God has blessed you with.
Our bible text say from the Bible in 1 Thessalonians 2:7, but we were gently among you even as a nurse cherisheth her children. From the above quota its obvious that the nurse cherished her loved ones as parent we are responsible for the day to day activities of our children.
The world we are living is changing so rapidly/quickly, with different inventions technologically. How vast are you as a parent to these technological devices of the world. Care for children means following their choices of technological flow as to guide them aright.
Devoting time for children is a beautiful act that solidifies parents’ union with the children. But it is best if the father and mother dedicate and devote their time in teaching the children God’s principles and rules.
Teach them how to pray simply that God’s will is best and perfect
Teach them to know that one who prays must obey
Teach them to pray in accordance to the will of God
Teach them to persist/persevere
Teach them to know that God answers prayer
Teach them to wait for an answer
Teach them to know that prayer changes every situation/all things

Our father in heaven, we thank you for your steadfast love towards us, we are indeed grateful for the families you placed us in. gracious Lord please help our parents to love us and cherish us as you love and care for the church. If children are taught to follow Christ footsteps and inculcate the habit of praying often, we will be better children of yours. For this to be our parents are to guide us. Teach them to care and guide us even as you provide for them to take care of our daily needs in Jesus name we pray Amen.
