Title: God’s Love and Grace
_”The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.” (1 Timothy 1:14, NIV)
Welcome to today’s devotion! Have you ever felt a warm hug or a kind word when you needed it the most? Well, that’s a little taste of God’s love and grace. It’s like a never-ending ocean of love that surrounds us, always ready to comfort and guide us. Today, we’ll explore this incredible gift from God and how it can inspire us to share love and grace with others.
Think about a time when someone did something really nice for you. Maybe a friend shared their favourite toy with you, or a family member made your favourite meal. When we receive love and kindness, it makes us feel happy, right? Well, God’s love and grace are like the biggest, most special acts of kindness.
You see, God loves you so much that He’s always looking out for you, better than any guardian angel. He’s there to give you strength when you’re feeling down and to celebrate with you when you’re happy. And He gives us grace, which means that even when we make mistakes, He forgives us and helps us start afresh. It’s like hitting the ‘reset’ button on a video game, giving you a brand-new chance.
So, here’s the cool part – you can share that love and grace with others! Just like when you share your toys or help a friend when they’re sad, you can make the world a happier place by showing love and grace to others. Today, think about how you can be a love and grace superhero in your own way!
Remember, God’s love and grace are like your secret superpowers. They help you spread love and kindness to everyone you meet. So, let’s make a promise to be little superheroes of love, sharing the happiness we’ve received from God with others. By living a life full of love and grace, you can make the world a brighter and better place for everyone!”
Thought for Reflection:
Take a moment to think about how much God loves you. His love is like a warm hug that never lets go. How can you show love and grace to others in your life? Remember, God’s love can shine through you.
Song:
Jesus loves me! this I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong
Refrain
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.
Prayer:
Dear God, we come before you with grateful hearts, thanking you for Your incredible love and grace. Your love is like a warm, comforting hug that never lets us go, and your grace is like a fresh start whenever we make mistakes. We want to be Your superheroes of love and kindness, just as you have shown us. Please guide us to spread happiness, share love, and show grace to others. Help us live lives that reflect Your love and grace, making the world a better place. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
