The All Progressives Congress (APC), Chieftain and Auditor General, Owerri Municipal Council, Hon Adiele Churchill has stressed that the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma is set to reconstruct, rehabilitate and recover the state in his second tenure.
He said the Governor had done laudable projects in his first tenure which are largely instrumental to the social and economic advancement of the state, stating that the people are benefitting from those projects and people-oriented policies of the shared prosperity government.
Hon Adiele made this known while interacting with newsmen in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
He highlighted that the road projects across the state, youth training and empowerment on technology, entrepreneurial, agricultural and marketing skills, dredging of Oguta/Orashi River to the Atlantic Ocean to enhance trade and commerce, employment of primary school teachers, building of blocks and rehabilitation of dilapidated schools bears eloquent testimony of the governors commitment to develop the state.
The APC stalwart also indicated that the various structures, building of housing estates, revamping of Adapalm plantation, reinstatement of some sacked workers of Adapalm and payment of backlog salaries, promotion of workers and regular payment of salaries to both state and local government workers, rehabilitation of healthcare centres across the state, erection of three mega general hospitals in Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru East through ISOPADEC, among others are outstanding footprints of the Governor’s commitment towards driving the state to greater heights.
Hon Adiele expressed excitement in respect of the Governor’s second term inauguration.
He revealed that he is very confident that the governor is prepared to consolidate his laudable achievements targeted at redefining the state, bringing prosperity, peace, security, comfort and joy to the people.
Hon Adiele commended the APC chairman, Imo State, Dr MacDonald Ebere for his tremendous contribution in presenting Uzodimma to the electorate and expressed excitement in respect of the landslide victory of the governor.
The APC Campaign Chairman, Owerri Municipal, for the election of President Bola Tinubu commended Nigerians for electing the president and urged the citizenry to keep hope alive .
According to him, the pains of the present economic policies will soon be over as there will be light at the end of the tunnel.
Hon Adiele urged the citizenry to continue to support the 3R administration to achieve its dreams of good living in a secured and thrilling environment, praying to Almighty God to continue to imbibe the Governor with more wisdom and strength as he drives Imo State to good, safe and comfortable destination.
“I am quite happy about the second term swearing-in of Hope Uzodimma who has shown, through good governance and democratic disposition of quality achievements especially on road construction and rehabilitation that he truly loves the people.
“Hence, I call on all persons of good conscience to lend credence to his leadership to enable him achieve better results to the goodness, edification and progress of the state”, Hon Adiele prayed.
