We’re Changing The Face Of Nigeria’s Pilgrimage: Adegbite, NCPC Boss
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has said that he would change the face of pilgrimage in Nigeria.

Senior Information Officer, NCPC Media and Public Relations Unit, Bishop Adegbite disclosed this while receiving the officials of the Organisation of African Instituted churches OAIC, who paid him a congratulatory visit at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja today 7th February, 2024.
Bishop Adegbite expressed gratitude to the entire Nigerian christendom for the support he has received since his announcement as the new Executive Secretary of NCPC, he affirmed that the position he holds is key to bringing positive change to the face of Pilgrimage in Nigeria.
He also promised that with the help of God Almighty and the support of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, he would put NCPC and pilgrimage on a high pedestal.
The NCPC Boss called on Christians to work together as true ministers of God for one common goal. In his words, “Christians should work together as true ministers for the growth of christianity and Nigeria at large.”
He further intimated his guests of his visit to the Israeli Ambassador who informed him that Israel gates are now open to pilgrims. He affirmed that he is eternally grateful to God for placing him at the helm of affairs in NCPC , while assuring that he is ever ready to make a positive impact that would be found worthy of emulation as he pilots the affairs of pilgrimage in the country.
He was equally grateful to the OAIC for deeming it worthy to pay him a congratulatory visit. He cashed in on the opportunity to charge them to call for prayers for peace in Nigeria.
Earlier, the President of the Organization of African Instituted churches OAIC, His most Eminence, Baba Aladura, Elder Dr. Israel Akinadewo, who led his team on the congratulatory visit, had said Bishop Adegbite’s appointment as the new Executive Secretary of NCPC gladdens his heart, as such the whole blocks of CAN were in the Commission to pledge their full allegiance to him as one of their own.
In his words, “this appointment gladdens my heart and honestly this is a wonderful feat, that is why we are here with the entire blocks of CAN.”
He added, “NCPC is in the right hand, Bishop Adegbite’s appointment cut across blocks, the Government will not regret this! We are ever ready to support christianity and the Government of Nigeria.”
