Title: Finding Joy in What We Have

Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work — this is a gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 5:19,

Have you ever received a special gift that made you really happy? Maybe it was a toy you wanted or a fun game to play with your friends. Well, did you know that according to the Bible, everything good We have is a gift from God?

Our verse teaches us that when we have nice things, when we’re able to enjoy them, and when we’re happy with the work we do, it’s all because of God’s kindness.

But why does God want us to be happy with what we have? Well, think about it this way: Have you ever seen someone who has lots of toys but is never satisfied? They always want more and more, and they’re never truly happy. That’s because happiness doesn’t come from having lots of stuff. Real happiness comes from being content with what we have and enjoying the blessings God gives us every day.

So, how can we be content and find joy in what we have? First, we can thank God for all the good things in our lives, whether it’s our toys, our friends, or our family. Second, we can share what we have with others who might not have as much. When we give to others, it not only helps them but also fills our hearts with joy. And finally, we can remember that true happiness comes from knowing God and following His ways.

So, let’s remember to be thankful for all the gifts God has given us, to share with others, and to find joy in every moment. Because when we do, we’re truly living in the love and goodness of God.

True happiness comes not from having everything we want, but from being content with what we have and finding joy in God’s blessings. Take a moment today to reflect on the things you’re grateful for. Write them down or share them with someone you love. Then, think of one way you can share your blessings with someone in need, whether it’s through a kind word, a helping hand, or a simple act of generosity

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for the gift of contentment and joy that comes from knowing You. Help us to find happiness not in material possessions but in the love and blessings You provide each day. Guide us to share our blessings with others and to live lives that honor You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
