Take Charge Of Your Health: Houston Int’l SDA Begins Its Two Week Series With Dwayne Lemon
Houston International Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Houston Texas, on Sunday, April 14, 2024, began its Two Weeks “Take Charge of Your Health Crusade.”
The health seminar which promises to dwell on God’s already prescription and direction to save man and also make him leave a healthy life is scheduled to hold from April 14 to April 28, 2024.
The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, which prides itself as the remnant of God’s church believes in holistic approach to worship while waiting for second coming of Jesus Christ.
This holistic approach laced with its doctrinal insistence on obeying to the letter the spirit of the scriptures also hinges it’s belief in adoption of food preferences as clearly stated in Leviticus 11 and other prophetic portions of the Bible.
Piqued by the sordid state of people’s health, which by the present day medical practice that borders more on disease management than healthcare management system, Houston International Church in collaboration with Dwayne $ Alexandria Lemon.
Dr. Dwayne Lemon during his introductory teaching spelt out the area of interest, which ranges from diabetes, heart diseases, Hypertension among numerous others.
He decried the tradition of how people are made to believe they must live on routine medicines throughout their lifetime when God has foretold the alternative way to still lead a healthy life and prevent the diseases of today.
He said that it God’s plan that his people should life and have it in abundance.
In his comparative analysis, he holds that the supposed leaders in healthcare are more interested in making their patients to eternally rely on medicine, deceitfully making them believe that some simple conditions are incurable.
He quoted some authorities ranging from Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Dr. Colin Campbell, Dr. Dean Ornish, Dr. John McDougall who in their candid and patriotic opinion had either decried the dangerous trend on converting humans for mere guinea pig for the purposes of making money from them instead of attending to their health needs, prescription of plant based food to lead a healthy life, caution of destructive lifestyles amongst others.
After his introductory teaching, he said Monday, April 15, 2024 seminar will be addressing heart diseases and Hypertension.
He urged those with such challenges to show up at Houston International Seventh-Day Adventist Church to benefit from the wisdom and biblical effective way to get out of the challenges.
