Title: The Day of Judgment

Behold, the day.Behold it comes, your doom has come. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded (Ezekiel 7:10).

Let’s talk about something super important today: the Day of Judgment. It might sound a bit scary, but don’t worry, we’re here to learn how to be ready for it.

You know how sometimes you do something wrong, and you’re waiting for your dad to come home? It can feel pretty nerve-wracking, right? Well, imagine that feeling, but even bigger—that’s what it’ll be like on the Day of Judgment.

The Bible tells us in Ezekiel 7:10 that this day is coming. But here’s the good news: God has been warning us about it. He’s been using pastors, teachers, parents, and other wise people to tell us to do the right things and to be good to others.

On that day, everyone will have to stand before God and tell Him about their lives. But don’t worry, because if we’ve accepted Jesus into our hearts and tried our best to follow Him, we don’t have to be afraid. Jesus helps us overcome our mistakes, and He wants us to share His love with others.

So, what can we do? We can ask Jesus to be our friend and guide us every day. We can choose to live in a way that makes Him happy. And most importantly, we can tell our friends about Jesus too, so they can be ready for the Day of Judgment.

Here’s something to think about: Are you ready to ask Jesus into your heart and be His friend? He loves you so much and wants to forgive you for anything you’ve done wrong. Will you choose to come back to Him?

Remember, with Jesus by our side, we can look forward to the Day of Judgment as a day of joy and happiness. Let’s trust Him and live for Him every day!

Thought for Reflection/Life Application
Think about your relationship with Jesus. Are you ready to invite Him into your heart and follow Him every day? Take some time to talk to Jesus and ask Him to help you live for Him. Remember, Jesus loves you no matter what, and He wants to be your friend forever.

Song
The judgment has set, the books have been opened; How shall we stand in that great day, When every thought, and word and action, God the righteous judge shall weigh

Chorus
How shall we stand in that great day?
How shall we stand in that great day?
Shall we be found before him wanting?
Or with our sins all washed away?.

Prayer
Dear Jesus, Thank you for loving us and always being there for us. Help us to remember that you are our friend and that you forgive us when we make mistakes. Please come into our hearts and guide us every day. Help us to live for you and share your love with others. Thank you for being with us always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
