Actress Funke Akindele Tops As The Most Paid Nollywood Actress In 2023

Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has emerged as the highest-grossing actress for 2023, with her movie “A Tribe Called Judah” breaking records at the Nigerian box office.

This is despite, Funke Akindele’s ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ misses out at the 10th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. Despite becoming the first movie to gross over N1 billion in 21 days, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ lost all five nominations

According to the report by Comscore, Funke Akindele raked in N794 million, followed closely by Shaffy Bello with N216 million.

The list also features other notable actresses, including Toyin Abraham with N144 million, Omowunmi Dada with N129 million, and Mercy Aigbe with N126 million.

Similarly, Bimbo Ademoye, Ireti Doyle, Nancy Isime, Sandra Okunzuwa, and Sophie Alakija complete the top 10 list with earnings ranging from N57 million to N122 million.
