Bandits In Niger State Murders Pastor After Receiving Ransom
Bandits operating in Niger State’s Shiroro Local Government Area have brutally murdered Pastor Joshua Musa, a cleric with the Evangelical Church of West Africa despite receiving a ransom for his release.
According to The PUNCH, the incident occurred after the pastor and his wife, along with others, were kidnapped seven days prior.
Eyewitness accounts and social media posts by ECWA members, including Sunny Danbaba, said the bandits released the victims after collecting the ransom but shockingly dragged Pastor Musa back and killed him as they were leaving the forest.
His wife and the other victims were spared and allowed to return home.
The Niger State Police Command Spokesman, Wasiu Abiodun when contacted on Monday said he would find out and get back to this correspondent.
“I will find out,” he said.
