Snoop Dogg Selected To Carry The Olympic Flame Before The Opening Ceremony
American rapper, Snoop Dogg, will carry the Olympic flame through the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, marking the final stretch before the opening ceremony on July 26.
This iconic event will feature over 10,000 athletes on boats along the Seine River.
Snoop Dogg joins fellow torchbearers French rapper MC Solaar and French actress Laetitia Casta in this prestigious honor.
The town mayor, Mathieu Hanotin, confirmed Snoop Dogg’s participation on his official social media account, highlighting the international cast for the last stretch of the Olympic Flame.
The mayor of Saint-Denis Mathieu Hanotin confirmed the news on X, saying: “An international casting @SnoopDogg for the final journey of the Olympic flame. With a concert by @Slimaneoff as the highlight of this day, live on @FranceTV from the square in front of the Basilica”.
