Topic: Low self-esteem.

” _The men reported to them and showed everybody the fruit from the land. They told Moses, “We went to the land where you sent us. It is a land where much food grows! Here is some of its fruit. But the people who live there are strong. Their cities are walled and large. We even saw some Anakites there.” Numbers 13:26-28._

When Moses sent some men to explore the land of Canaan, he told them to go on a great adventure of the land as the promised land of the covenant made to their parents.
The people came back with reports of the land and even brought fruits as evidence of their findings and to prove their journey.

They enquired about the following- (a)The outlook of the land (b)The dwellers of the land (c)The physical stature of the people (whether strong or weak) (d)The size of the people (e)The condition of the land (good or bad).

They came back with good reports but with negative feelings about themselves.

They told themselves we are not able to possess the land, they lost trust in themselves and the power of the great covenant keeper, God, who made the promise many years before.

Many of us today have great vision, dreams and ambition in life but how to convert those visions and dreams into reality lies our greatest enemy – low self-esteem.

For us to get to our Canaan, reach our full potentials and experience the wonderful promises God has made to us in His word, we must believe and trust in God first, knowing He never fails and He cannot lie. He promises to perfect what He began in our lives and all that He speaks concerning us, He will bring to pass.

*PRAYER*
Father help me to shun all forms of fear and low self-esteem and say YES to Jesus in possessing my Canaan land. Amen.
