Ex- Deputy Governor Salutes Lai Mohammed At 70, Mentions His Contributions  In National Devt




The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has extended his goodwill message to the Minister of Information & Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed at 70, reeling out his positive contributions to the national development.

The former Deputy Governor’s goodwill message and commendations are contained in a statement by his Adviser on Media & Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.

In the statement, Madumere described Mohammed as a dogged fighter who has in no little measure sold Nigeria to the world, having communicated strategically to the world the positive features of the country and her great potentials.

Madumere further commended Mohammed for her obstinacy in preservation of Nigeria’s cherished values and culture through foreign exchanges and promotion of the country’s cultural heritage.

“The Minister of Information & Culture must be commended for his effort in promotion of Nigeria’s cultural heritages from various ethnic groups.

“Cultural exchanges have been properly utilized by the Minister to expose the positive culture of the country.

“The recent repatriations of historical artefacts are the hallmarks of patriotic efforts of Alh. Mohammed towards enriching Nigeria’s history and technological prowess before even the coming of the wests to African”, the statement reads.

He therefore wished him many more years with good health even as he continues to contribute to the national development.
