NDLEA Chairman, Buba Marwa’s First Daughter, Zainab Abubakar Speaks On Mother’s Death, Says She Led A Good Life

The first daughter of the Former Military Governor of Lagos State, General Buba Marwa, Zainab Marwa-Abubakar, who is the Special Assistant on Community Relations to the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has reacted to the death of her mother, Chief Mrs. Zainab Marwa.

In her oust on her Social Media handles, she took time to eulogize the woman who passed on today at age 66.

She wrote, How do we begin to capture her essence. She was a firecracker. She was a star that shot through the sky but dimmed too soon. She was everything to everyone. A mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, a fashionista, a giver…she was the source, the connection. She was the glue that kept us all together. Chief Mrs Zainab Marwa came to this world with a strength that would rival Hercules, she fought and pushed for what was right. She was a protector, always fighting for the underdog.

We say to her. As around the sun the earth knows she’s revolving, And the rosebuds know to bloom in early May, Just as hate knows love’s the cure, You can rest your mind assure

That I’ll be loving you always, Until the rainbow burns the stars out in the sky (Always),

Until the ocean covers every mountain high (Always).

Until the dolphin flies and parrots live at sea (Always).
