N20m Business Startup: Davido Carpets Critic Over Proposal

Afrobeats singer Davido has chided a critic who proposed a different plan for the N20million he intends to give out to 20 business owners.

On Wednesday, the 29-year-old singer via his Twitter handle, announced plans to give out N20million to 20 people on Friday.

He explained he desired to assist the specified number of persons begin a business seeing how tough things are in the country.

The DMW boss encouraging eligible persons to send in their business/start-up ideas noted more details will about the grants will be shared later.

Davido tweeted: “Country hard right now sha … let’s give 20m to 20 pple on Friday … send in your business ideas or start-up ideas … more details shortly #Wrblo.”

Following Davido’s announcement, a Twitter users simply known as Daniel Regha advised him differently as he argued majority of the people Davido intends to give the money to will misuse it.

“Davido instead of gifting 20m to 20 people, visit hospitals, schools plus social media platforms (including ur comment sections) & use the money to foot the bills of those who urgently need financial assistance; Cos majority of people here will misuse the money if given to ’em”, he tweeted.

Reacting to Regha’s opinion, the “Gobe” singer told informed him to spend his money the way he pleases while also appealing to him to change is display picture which he described as ‘shit mad annoying.’

“Mr Daniel if you have ur own 20’million Naira use it how you want and pls change ur dp that shit mad annoying,” Davido tweeted.
