BREAKING: Liverpool humiliates Man City 3-1, increases lead by 9 points
Liverpool FC on Sunday continued its run for the elusive premiership trophy as they extended their lead at the English Premiership League to nine points with a 3-1 victory humiliation of their arch-rivals Manchester City.
6th minute into the the first half Fabinho scored the first goal. On the 13th into the first half shortly after Fabinho’s goal, Mo Sallah stroke with a header, scoring the second goal.
Meanwhile, in the 51st minute into the second half, there was a fine header from Sadio Mane that gave Liverpool a comfortable lead.
Trying the fight back, Manchester City was able to score a consolation goal with a beautiful strike from Bernado Silva.
However, the hot match was marred by furious protests by the two coaches – Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola – over few questionable officiating.
With the table, the Liverpool are in a comfortable lead with 9 points ahead of the closest Leicester.
